Snail on the fennel

Don't know what I'm going to do for a blip when the fennel plant gives up for the year. This snail has had a marathon journey to get to the very top. The fennel smells lovely - strong aniseed aroma. Yesterday's spider has gone and the hoverflies aren't in evidence either so today is the snail's turn.

A morning on Grandma duty in Glasgow while my grandson's mum went back to the dentist. Horrible wet drive there and back. Home to make a couple of evening meals for the week before going round to a friend this afternoon. Tonight it'll be Community Council and other admin.

The weather has cheered up and Flora is on a very long lead in the back garden. There is no fence at all between us and next door while the new one is being built. That would be a very exciting adventure for her.
