Amazing colours

The overnight rain on Thursday has turned everything in the garden bright and colourful, apart from the grass of course which need a good few soakings still to see the green fully return.

A fairly laid back Sunday for us with a wander with the hoolies before Sue was due to join us for lunch.  Her very smart Beemer decided it was going to give her some trouble by cutting out every few meters.  A wee slow drive to her friend who looks after cars identified that the thermostat had given in, just as well we took a slow drive as she could have ended up with a much larger repair bill.

After a lazy lunch she headed home using the truck for the next couple of days.  I am not sure she is going to enjoy the fuel usagle but at least she is mobile again.  Cars are great when they go but a complete pain in the ass when they don't.
