Indicative of the season.

There seems to be a bumper crop of blackberries this year, I've resisted picking and freezing them as they tend to sit in the freezer and I forget to use them up. The Rose Hips take me back to my childhood, I remember having to go out with my whole class picking them to be made into Rose hip syrup. Don't know when that stopped. I believe it was started during the second world war as a means of getting vitamin C into the nation.
