Westonbirt Arboretum

Flew in to Bristol airport this morning and after a quick lunch stop in Chipping Sodbury (I love that name!) we visited the National Arboretum at Westonbirt.

Unfortunately the canopy walkway, one of the reasons we chose to visit the Arboretum, wasn’t open today. However we had a great guided tour with volunteer guides Roger and Trisha, who were knowledgeable and charming!

Now ensconced in hotel in Cirencester and due to head out for food and drinks. Tomorrow we’re off to visit Prince Charles at Highgrove. Well, his lovely garden at any rate. :)
