Reflecting light

My entry for MonoMonday, glass reflecting light, as the day has been so dark grey there are not many fun reflections to be had.  So I hope you like this.

I've spent the afternoon up at the hospital with OG.  Poor man, they decided not to operate because of his weak heart.  But - get this - when they wanted to send him home he'd been in hospital for more than 5 days.  Therefore he has lost his Council-financed care package.  Therefore the NHS won't let him home because it's not safe.  Tell me, how is that saving taxpayers money?  And more important is it acceptable, let alone kind?
