Centre-barred sallow

This beautiful Centre-barred sallow Atethmia centrago was in my trap last night, it's presence really does herald autumn.....my first of the autumnal moths...things are not looking good!
Reasonably common in the south the larvae feed on Ash, which with all the ash die back around this area is a real worry!
