Coopers Hawk

Early this morning out on the deck with a cup of coffee, it was still pretty dark and was lightly raining.  I was looking down and saw two coyotes running past on the shore.  I knew it was too dark to even try for a shot and they were gone quickly.  Later in the morning, still lightly raining and I'm on the phone I look out and see this hawk in the tree,  stick the phone under my chin grab the camera and big lens and hand holding try for the shot before he flies away.  Rest of the day spent on errands and trying to get more ram for my computer....(long story not worth getting into).

I almost forgot the excitement last night.  I was watching TV and my mom calls to take cover a tornado is coming....um mom we don't get those here.  Then my show goes off and the TV is blasting a tornado warning and to take cover immediately, then the phone goes off with warnings...it didn't come to anything and all was fine, apparently a little east of us there was a funnel cloud.
