Council Election 2019

Took daughter J to lunch today. Her birthday. She is very busy with electioneering when not working in her solo architecture practice. The main photo today is one of two hoardings she could put up; there are a couple more with her and the other two Green candidates for the Local Board. Election is a postal ballot before Saturday fortnight, or going to a voting place until the last day.

This afternoon I had a short jog to Grey Lynn Park. Had barely entered the park when I saw lots of activity in a short clump of Pohutukawa trees. Convinced that I had seen goldfinch, I searched, and ultimately caught one bird in a visible position and that is the extra; a Tauhou.
