Fly Stack

A day spent cutting ruddy C*******s trees for more table runner kits… also cutting little card templates for them too.

Found this fly (deceased - hence all the dust) clinging on to the cover of the cutting machine - ideal blip opportunity I thought. Eleven shot focus stack, camera controlled using my iPad app - created in Photoshop, finished in Lightroom. A little disappointed - I think it is a bit soft, but I probably used too small an aperture (high number) and suffered from refraction. Looks pretty gruesome in LARGE though.

On our walk this morning I  spotted some lovely droplets from overnight rain. The sun was just catching them to make them sparkle  - see extra.
