Kirkcudbright Bay

This is the view over Kirkcudbright Bay as you come down the brae at Mutehill towards the town itself.

The tide is out and you can see the River Dee as it winds its way over the mudflats into the Solway Firth.  On the right, overlooking the bay, you can make out the rounded curves of The White House.  It was named as Scotland’s 'Home of the Year'  at the end of an eight-part series on the new BBC Scotland channel.
