A Disappointing Afternoon

This afternoon G, M and I met up with friends H and M for a cream tea on the Poppy Line. The photo is of Sheringham Station which was all dressed up and looking lovely for the 1940's weekend in a few day. Good weather is forecast so I think it'll be the busiest yet. I've included an extra of the steam engine that hauled the train today. Our booking was meant to be for a 3 and a 2 as the carriage is layed out as 4 seats then an aisle then 2 seats. Unfortunately they'd put us as a 4 and a 1, with a gentleman already in the opposite seat of the single seat. So instead of a lovely cream tea with friends, I had a chat with a guy on holiday here. Also it wasn't the dining carriage, but loose tables with metal and canvas chairs which weren't the most comfortable. Sooooooooooo disappointing.
