balancing act...

This beautiful and quite large grasshopper was on one of the plants this morning!  He seemed to be just balancing on thin air for a while and then he flew off showing me his beautiful red under wings!  I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of that!

I had a busy day planning activities for Early Childhood for the next few months - thank goodness I got the inverter because power went off at 5.30am, came on at 3pm and went off again at 5pm!  So only 2 hours of power during the day today!  And apparently its going to get worse!!
