Our club had a walk today down near Stranraer, quite a long distance to travel but it was worth it, and we had a meal to finish before the journey home.

I am not able to walk the distance for club walks yet, but the HG and I did a shorter walk including the ending of the club walk, which was great …… we climbed up the hill for some fine views of the Irish Sea in the distance......

After changing out of walking gear we headed to Kirkoswald on our way home as we had a meal booked.  Souters always do a terrific meal ….. I have shown my pudding (strawberry pavlova) as an extra.

And the weather was kind to us all day, only raining as we reached the coach at the end of the walk.
