Web colours

I've been feeling a bit under the weather today - fighting off a cold I think, so only managed a short early evening walk round our local wood. This is a heavy crop of a photograph of spider sitting in its web, but I was intrigued by the vast array of colours being refracted from the threads of silk, and the nature of the banding which almost looks like DNA or even a bar code. I thought it made quite a nice abstract - more experimentation required!
