City of London - more building

Walking between Barbican and St Paul's and looking up I see as much building work as I did yesterday in Canary Wharf.

All these cranes and glass.  I met an old colleague on the train today who is doing a PhD in glass manufacture.  Interesting to hear how it has come to this.
