dedicated water person

I have been thinking of DDW today, being a significant day for all Americans and indeed everyone in the world, on this day 2001 the world changed forever for everyone.
Sat on the front veranda in the warm sun, as you do. thoughts wandering, a truck rolled into the park opposite, the driver got out of his cabin and rolled out his hose pipe from the side of his truck and proceeded to water the newly planted pine trees, he knelt down to perform this job making sure these tees are not going to perish in the hot Summer sun that is about to come in a month or two.
DDW yesterday posted the newly planted trees near her building, one had just perished due to harsh weather conditions and no water or TLC of any kind.
Fingers crossed our trees in the park will survive..
