Returning!

The Brent geese are returning to Strangford Lough! It's that time of year, the swallows leave and the Brent return. I know you can't see them in this photo, but at the edge of the Lough, feeding on the eel grass, there are loads already here. One estimate is 2800, and it's just the start!
We went to Castle Espie after lunch for a walk, and with the binoculars we could see lots of geese - it's an exciting time of year!
