Flowering Artichoke

Now that more of the Globe Artichoke heads are flowering and the sun was shining I thought I would give my camera an outing for a change rather than my iPhone - apart from that it is so tall it saved me fighting past the rose bushes to get near enough.

It is now looking like a giant thistle swaying in the breeze.
