roadside sunflowers

It has been a good sunflower year. Warm and windy today with a high of 93ºF. It will soon begin to cool, perhaps!

Katie has just sent me a  photo of Maxwell that I will put in the extras. I have cropped it so that you can see his cap and the ribbon which is hard to see against his blue tee shirt. He is very pleased with himself even though he didn't place.!
