The finest plans etc ....
Drizzly weather this morning put paid to my ideas for my wide Wednesday blip, so I took a detour along the Walton Road for this view of Walton Hall which is now a conference venue in the week and a weddings and spa setup at the weekend.   A narrower view in the extra as I couldn't decide which I liked. 

Of course - the weather has cheered up, but this view would be into the sun now and the texture in the stonework would likely be lost.

Having done some better research I now know the Chesterton Windmill open weekend is part of a larger set of Heritage open days in England over the next two weeks - more info here
