Food, of course
Today, we lunched on a traditional dish of southern Alsace: carpes frites (fried carps). The carps (an abundant fish here) are filetted, covered with a semoule (semolina?) batter, which doesn’t absorb oil, and deep fried for a couple of minutes. It’s served with chips and a green salad.
The smiling guy is Kevin, proud owner of the carpes frites food truck that comes to the farmers’ market every Wednesday :)
