A very big snail or a very small dog.

This Bronze is, I think, a Temple Dog encrusted with snails and is on the mantle piece in the Library at Hill of Tarvit.

I have spent quite a bit of research time trying to find out more with no great success.

But, it is something of a curiosity. It is about 12.5cm in length.
