Quick visit to the angel
Slept reasonably well despite the slightly soft mattress and the howling wind and rain which made the van shake a lot!!
Got up and away by 10 as we were due back at the dealers at 10.30 to see if they could resolve the sensor issues. We had picked up a couple of other issues overnight - the most pressing being the fact that the fridge wasn’t chilling and in fact got so warm overnight that the alarm went off at 6 (I missed that!)
From initial inspection Mr PHL deduced that the vent covers should be removed - although we were told at the handover that they could be left on.
Arrived at the dealers who sorted the sensor issue (crossed wires apparently) and confirmed that the vent covers are only required when in storage. So problem solved and we were good to go.
Thought as we were in the vicinity we should go and visit the Angel of the North - I was sure I had been before but Hong by the date of installation I now not sure if I had ever been. It was good to see.
Found somewhere for lunch and then headed off to the A1 - there seemed to be a few rattled and fraught sand it took a few miles before we realised we had left a vent partially open - oops. No harm done thankfully.
Made it home in good time and whilst upstairs looked out at the van to see the tv Ariel was at an odd angle - turns out there is a broken catch - so on the phone to the dealer who is trying to source a local servicing centre so we don’t have to go back to Burnopfield!
So bit eventful but hopefully that’s the last of the issues.
Cheese on toast for tea and a bath.
