Day 6 San Sebastián and Pamploma

Day 6.....San Sebastian & Pamplona. The campsite we were on last night was lovely and only £14 for the two of us plus a free shuttle bus into the outskirts of San Sebastian where we caught the bus into the city for £1.25 each. The churches were interesting and portrayed some amazing craftsmanship from many many years ago plus some modern pieces. We had a traditional lunch from the Basque region which is like a tapas. It was lovely. The shuttle bus collected us to go back to camp, however there was no step to get in and me being vertically challenged found it high! I skinned my shin on the metal strip in getting in and it was nasty. It was also very dusty so we went to the medical centre and they washed and dressed it for me. No need for stitches. We paid £36.78 for this hospital visit including a few dressing.....brilliant price. Only trouble is I am not allowed to swim!! We are now in Pamplona for the night and perhaps heading to the Pyrenees tomorrow. Bacon baguette for tea and a little wine!! I’ve never seen such Grand loos and showers as there are on this site! Beautiful weather and 23 degrees.
