For now

He walked from Orpington to Sevenoaks 
and on the way he met a puma.
It tried to swipe his face 
but he stood up straight,
walked on, not looking back.

He knows he'll last this winter's snow because 
he lasted last year's.
It's not good 
but he's getting ready.
For now, the pigeons are his friends.
