Waterfall - The Stone Roses

Spotted this en-route to work this morning. It instantly made me think of this song. Although I ended up more into techno in my late teens and early twenties the Stone Roses were a huge band to my peers and I just after I left school. There's lots of bands I like and could name who are better bands, but the Stone Roses, and the Happy Mondays, were the first bands that kind of felt like they belonged our generation.

I still listen to them occasionally although not as much as I did when I was sixteen. My only big dissapointment is that I got to see them on Glasgow green and the sound was dreadful.
