Marigold

Marigolds are such a vibrant colour - truly golden. Some are still blooming in the garden. I uprooted quite a lot after the summer as they spread profusely with many of their seeds spilling onto the earth round about them.

And the shoots of the first daffodils are now appearing - I expect they'll be the subject of a subsequent blip!
