Climbing
Had a lazy day, watching football in the morning and then a whole lot of nothing during the day. After talking with a friend back in America on Skype, it was time to head out and take some pictures.
I ended up at this park on top of a hill near my place. Had a lot of fun trying out different things, experimenting with the bulb setting, different apertures, and so on. At the end though I found this playground with this chain tube for climbing and decided it would be a cool shot. While I wish I had a fisheye lens for it, it was fun to take either way. I was basically shooting blind, as I laid my camera down in the center of the circle facing up and just pressed the shutter for a few second exposure, hoping I got the focus and lighting and all right (eventually I remembered auto focus exists, which made it so much easier). By that point, too cold to keep shooting. I wish I had gotten really into picture taking and Blipfoto in a warmer time of year. After about 45 minutes of shooting I just want to get warm, instead of continuing to practice.
