1784. Shameless....

Ok so here’s a rant!
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was one of my favourite games and I’ve been happily playing it for almost two years...it was harmless fun and if you wanted to you could spend a little bit of money to enhance it...well...Nintendo did a major update to it a couple of days ago and to say that it’s shamelessly aimed at earning huge amounts of money is a dramatic understatement...
I get that they want to earn money out of it as it’s technically a free game to download and play....but this update is truly disgraceful. I noted yesterday that the news was reporting on the use of so called “loot boxes” on popular games which was resulting in kids becoming addicted to spending huge amounts of cash on these games and now this game is exploiting players in the same way....shame on Nintendo for this cynical move.
Oh well time to find another game to spend hours playing!
