Sharing

I had stopped feeding the birds when we went to Townsville, but I had a few rather soft apples, so chopped one up and put it on the nail spikes.....the pair of waxeyes that seem to stay here throughout the seasons were soon having a feast.  In flew a sparrow, and I managed to click a few off through the window of them sharing the apple.  
The overcast sky has given the high key look.

A lovely wet afternoon, fire lit, nice and cosy.  Doug made leek and potato soup which is delicious.
This morning I met up with my district friends at our local cafe which was fun.
