Custom House, Bowling Basin

The Custom House (built c1800) is under external renovation by Scottish Waterways Trust. It looks out on the final basin of the Forth and Clyde Canal where it enters the Clyde Estuary. The project is part of a wider regeneration scheme in the area. It is my favourite destination on my cycle along the restored canal path. Usually I board a train at Bowling for the ride home!
