Everything in moderation

My first bike ride of 2013 and I was ready for it!
However I'm not sure how effective at shifting the lard I will have been as it was an afternoon of two halves! First part was the working off excess pounds that have crept on; the second was a lovely lunch with Soozy at the Biscuit Café in Culross.
Todays ride was 20 miles with an average speed of just under 12mph, which frankly is pretty pathetic. I need to get more time in the saddle and get my miles and average speed up.
Oh well as Oscar Wilde said "Everything in moderation, including moderation."
