The Kennel

The open studio painters hang out in the kennel at Menucha. It's about a half mile walk from Wright Hall down a gorgeous wooded road to the kennel below. We were lucky this year as the weather was mild. Had it been really hot (as it has been when I was here before) or heavily raining (ditto) life would have been more complex and uncomfortable. As it was this year, the weather was lovely and we all painted lots of paintings during the week.

The extras show the beautiful view down from Wright Hall to the Columbia River below. The second one is the road we walk down to the kennel.
