Seed head
I decided to have a play with the super macro setting on my camera today. I have only ever had a macro setting before so this was something new.
Went looking round the wet and dead looking garden and found this forlorn chinese gooseberry seed head. I love this plant for photos in the late summer but have never really noticed it in winter. So I brought it indoors, placed it on a white card in the bay window and hey presto! this is what I got.
I dont know where the lovely orange hue to the paper came from but I'm not complaining as it makes it look like I've done some clever photoshopping!
