Out-and-about in Midlothian ;-)

In all the recent holiday excitement, nearly forgot to post up details for this month's 2nd Saturday Walk!

Well - tomorrow - we're off to Midlothian (see snap) ... & some further details below:

- this month's walk will be a circular-route from the main Penicuik House visitors' car park
- meet at 10am, Saturday 14th September
- Penicuik House is located approximately 10-miles south of Edinburgh

- the main visitors' car park is free of charge and located just west of Penicuik, directly off the A766 opposite the Lowrie's Den junction --- the GRID-Reference is: NT 219 599

- by bus - Stagecoach Service 101/A, from central Edinburgh, also goes close by the meeting-point
- car-spaces (from Shandon) may also be available to share ... do just let me know if you need a lift?

... although obviously with a different starting-point!
- I am minded to extend the distance slightly (by going further along the cycle-path) ...
... so overall distance likely to be circa 8-miles in length, and should take us between 4-5hours including a lunch-stop :-)

- do bring along some food/packed-lunch etc. --- but we can also obviously get some food/drink at the Penicuik House Cafe!
