Ted Stevens International Airport
Two days of travelling home starting soon, with flights from Anchorage to Portland then San Francisco for a night near the airport. Then an overnight flight home.
Alaska has been fantastic, as were our earlier visits to SF and Portland.
Ted Stevens was a long-serving US Senator, who survived a crash at the airport in 1978, which killed his then wife. The airport was named after Stevens in 2000.
