Pip is 17 today.

Of course it's emotional for us but Joe would want Pip to have a good birthday.

She's was so amazing during the last 8 months and has had to grow up faster and deal with so much more than other kids her age. I can't imagine how she's feeling today. She's a star.

I asked Joe before he died what he wanted to get Pip for her birthday; he wanted to buy her a piece of Vivienne Westwood jewellery so I bought her a beautiful acorn bracelet from him (she's obsessed with the 2002 Peter Pan film) using money that was in his wallet.

Tonight she's off the a 'gaff' armed with booze!
