Sun and Light and Warmth

A quick blip today because we are about to travel back to Sweden. We were lucky enough to be able to use our AirB&B flat for the whole day today so we were able to fit in a trip to the walled city of Lucca and still get back to the flat for showers and to pick up our stuff.
Lucca was hot. I'm not sure what "normal" is for September but today it was a good bit over 30°C. The walls around the city were one of the coolest places to be. They are wide enough to be a road and are lined with trees, and there was a slight breeze blowing up there.  Down in the city streets it was mostly shady but there was no movement of air.
Lucca is a lovely place, even on a day as hot as this!
