Mijas

It's been a lovely day. The sun has shone from a cloudless sky and it has been hot in the sun and around 24° C in the shade.

J and I went to Fuengirola for a stroll along the promenade. It is the Festival of the Three Kings today and so there were lots of people about. The place was buzzing and everywhere seemed to have come alive.

We had a spot of lunch (what did you expect?) in a lovely Spanish restaurant on the edge of the marina. J was delighted to have better anchovies than she could get in Edinburgh!

Later we went up the mountain to Mijas for a wander around all the wonderful leather shops. I bought a belt! J found some lovely scarves and so she bought two, naturally.

Back to school on Tuesday so let's hope for another fine day tomorrow.

Actually that's pretty much a dead cert!
