Small tortoiseshell

My garden has been awash with various butterflies this year, but it is the first time I’ve spotted a tortoise shell amongst them.

I love the way they work through the flowers in the garden - planted on the whole to attract the wildlife - the sedum being the current, and probably last of the season.

Busy day baking for the show tomorrow. Not entering anywhere near as much as usual, but still doing too much! Just a Pom Pom left to make , a card to create and a convert a shirt into a bag, and then polish my cornet!
