Games day ...

Today saw Pitlochry's Highland Games, the last in season (I think)  taking place.  One of the highlights for me is the parade of the pipe bands down the high street and into the ground.  

In addition there is the usual mix of events - piping contest, highland dancing, track and field events including throwing. This year there was also  a woman competing in the later. 

I am home alone tonight as T has a performance of North and South (in which he part of the community cast) and so some family treeing is planned followed by some Scandi Noir.
