The Tour/ The Big Day Out

Salford’s “Big Day Out” on the lawns in front of the Civic Centre. Great weather, lots of people enjoying themselves (great for kids), an overall fun time with some serious stuff too.

And ......... the Tour of Britain passed by, en route to the finishing line on Deansgate in Manchester. Today the cyclists took a route of 166km through all 10 of the Greater Manchester districts. The first time I have seen one of these events. The motorbikes were as exciting as the cyclists.
