Carnethy and Turnhouse Hills

After meeting up with thebear, thechimp and mazgilchimp1990 for coffee and a catch-up in the morning, Mr P and I set off for a walk in the Pentland Hills. Before our walk we had lunch in the Cafe Express (old Visitors’ Centre). It was recommended by thechimp and was very good. We eventually set off on our 4 hour walk, which ended up being much tougher than anticipated. Lots of climbing (600m) and very windy at the top. I was nearly blown over as Mr P was busy blipping! Hot bath and relaxing now.
