The Magic of the Forest

The trees were calling today, and it was a case of I HAD to get out, rather than wanted to.

Have been spending some of my holiday time reading up on my camera manuals and playing with settings etc, so another chance to put into practice some of what I'm learning. Lots of shots in a very dark forest which I was pleased with, plus some long exposure stuff with a stream tumbling over rocks.

The final choice for blip was the topic of hot debate with my OH. He really favours this one. He may be right - the other one might be a better photo technically, but for me, this crop of the forest canopy held the magic I was looking for today. Healing magic.
