Beauty on a miserable day

Spring brings a crazy mix of weather and today we had the miserable, cold, and wet side.

Spin bike class was brutal physically and mentally, but I endured and gave it everything. I had nothing else in my tank so chose to skip my other class.

The rain became steady and it's been a treat to lie on the sofa drinking coffee, reading my book, and looking out on the garden.

I could see the flash of red kakabeak flowers. I blipped them recently but these are more fully out and have rain drops.

Today's gratitude: For the lovely gentle rain and for being gentle with myself.
