The Annual Edinburgh Go Cart Race

First Sunday in January = the annual go cart race at Arthur's Seat on the closed road. My mate Kris was (as usual) the winner in the adult category but while his cart was by far the most technically brilliant this one caught my eye as it was obviously influenced by pre war Morgans with only 3 wheels. It also had the inherent stability issues ....
The other cart which somehow I missed photographing was the Christmas tree cart. Imagine a Christmas tree with 4 wheels, a seat and some sort of steering mechanism. And wreaths on the wheels. Totally madcap and slower than an arthritic tortoise but great fun all round.
