Groningen
After breakfast, I went on my rented railway bicycle from the hotel to the hospital with a detour. I don't want to go the same way every time I visit Groningen. This time I went past 'the Hands' and the graveyard. On the blip you see the Jewish Monument that recalls the more than 3000 Jewish people of Groningen who were killed in the Second World War. There would have been seven hands, but the artist Eduard Waskowsky died before he could complete the hand on the seventh pedestal.
I also went to the graveyard, which I seldom do, to find the graves of my mother and sister. I passed many names of deceased relatives, but I couldn't find theirs. Oh well, it doesn't matter. The walk across the graveyard was relaxing.
My father is well. According to him, he deserves to be in the papers. The good side, not on the last page.
The chemotherapy that my niece receives does a lot in her body, but the good things have yet to come.
