A Quiet Moment

The kids across the road came over to play this afternoon. The boys set up a game of monopoly in one room and the girls in another!
That gave me a few minutes for a quick cup of coffee. I also managed to capture Adelaide in a brief moment of reflection.
After that the boys retired to the garden for a rather more energetic game of something called trench warfare. It seemed to involve hurling balls at each other.
Their parents are back now so we are about to head home and recover.
