All to the sound of light breathing & humming

A really super day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park meeting up with friends A, Mrs W and all the kids. The weather was lovely, warm enough for a picnic outside and my popularity ratings went up slightly when we unpacked the picnics...A had bought a bag of lettuce, Mrs W had bought a tub of olives and I had bought a packet party rings...I mean who doesn’t love a ring shaped biscuit covered in purple and pink crunchy crunchy icing!

We were all blown away by the installation in the chapel called ‘To Breathe’ by Kimsooja, especially M, here as she’s just starting A’level Art. The inside of the building had been covered with mirrors and the light through the windows manipulated to have a lovely rainbow affect, all to the sound of light breathing and humming. The effect was mesmerising and I think we could have all stayed for hours.
