Aylesbury from the 11th Floor
After helping out with setting up our Camera Club's exhibition in a member's barn, Annie and I were booked on the 1pm tour of Aylesbury County Offices, part of the Heritage Open Day 2019 events. I've always wanted to get the view from the tower so it was great to get the opportunity and learn a bit more about this building that has dominated the Aylesbury skyline since before I was born. Although we couldn't go to the very top, the view from the 11th floor was great and you see the town a bit differently (as blipped).
After the visit, we headed over towards Didcot for a good friend's 50th birthday BBQ. It was a great gathering of friends, many of them from my school days. Lots of catching up to do!
